Dalton Cyr - Biography














Dalton Cyr (born July 21, 2000) is a 12 year-old singer, songwriter, musician 
and actor from Jacksonville, Florida who began performing solo at the age of nine. 
His original songs are available online at iTunes, Amazon, CD Baby, etc… 
He recently recorded new original material, which he will be releasing in early 2012.

He is a member of NSAI and the first song he ever wrote won the state of
Florida’s 2011 PTA Reflections music composition competition.

Performing 50 shows last year, many of which were 45-60 minute shows, 
Dalton has entertained audiences in a wide range of venues from fundraising
events, to festivals to private events to large venues with thousands in 
attendance. His music also can be heard on regular rotation on Internet radio.

An accomplished guitarist, Dalton also plays the ukulele, 
keyboard and is beginning to play the drums.

Dalton played the role of Mike Teavee in a production of the play
 “Willy Wonka”, the lead role of Aladdin in a production of the play 
“Aladdin” and appeared as part of the vocal orchestra in “Shout, An Acappella Musical”.

After auditioning at The LaVilla School of the Arts, he was accepted 
and began as a voice major with advanced placement in August 2011.
